DVS skaters Kenny Hoyle and Jimmy Cao manage to skate the tightest of  gaps in the first promo for the upcoming free feature DVD Dudes Dudes Dudes, due out May 5th in all skater owned shops and in the May edition of Sidewalk.

A new promo will be released every weekday for the next 8 days, over at: www.dvsskate.com.

The 50th issue of Skateboarder Mag is out this month, it’s an ‘extra special collectors edition’ and comes with a few bonuses to celebrate.

It’s got a rad fold out cover showing off all 50 of their covers, which is pretty sick in itself considering their hasn’t been a bad covershot yet. If your a fan of Fully Flared it’s got a photolog showing off the simply breathtaking Fully Flared intro and to top it off it’s got a London section.

Not an issue to miss.

Ahhh, the one day every year skateboarders across the globe look forward to. Luckily, it’s a saturday this year. No excuse not to grab the deck and shred.

For the UK this year, Vans have taken it upon themselves to organise a Jam based in Manchester.

Here’s what they had to say:

“Vans will be leading the celebrations on the on 21st June for Go Skateboarding Day with a team jam in Manchester. Stretching across the two famous Manchester skate parks, the likes of Kris Vile, Danny Wainwright, Ross McGouran and Ben Grove will be hitting up Projekts skate park then riding through the city to Central skate park. All topped off with a music jam within the park, featuring special music guests, to take the antics well into the night”

Now for something we care about: It has been rumoured that David Gonzales (born in Medellin) is to be made pro on Flip Skateboards. Nothing is set in stone as of yet. You will know as soon as we do. Probably when the new vid, ‘Extremely Sorry’ is released… last part for Gonzales???

In other Flip news, Ali Boulala has been given a jail sentence of four years (with a non-parole period of two years) for culpable driving which resulted in the untimely death of Shane Cross.

Drinking and driving is not cool, kids.

Flip AM skater David Gonzales has joined the clothing company Volcom.
