Forums don’t usually spawn interesting threads. They’re usually chock full of kids asking about the best bearings, and showing off videos and photos of little Jimmy ollieing his first coke can, or general rumours within the skateboard industry.
Today, however, a thread was created which made me think. It is entitled ‘Is the Internet Killing Skateboarding?‘.
A very dramatic title, but one which makes those thinking cells in the brain start to work again. Maybe it’s not killing it, but is it causing the industry to act in a way which is detremintal to the Skate culture?
That’s a bit deep for me today. Go discuss it in the forums whilst I watch this clip of Alex Olson getting his bank tech skills on wearing Vans.
Yup… wearing Vans.
